The Federation of Indian Publishers hosted the 44th Annual Awards for Excellence in Book Production, a prestigious event that has, for nearly five decades, been the hallmark of quality recognition in the Indian publishing industry.

This year’s awards received around a thousand entries across various categories, reflecting the immense enthusiasm and high standards within the publishing community. Over 100 entries were honored for their outstanding production quality—testament to the growing excellence and innovation in Indian publishing, which in many cases now meets and surpasses international standards.

The awards ceremony witnessed overwhelming participation from publishers across the country, reaffirming its importance as a platform that celebrates and encourages superior book production.

The event was further elevated by the presence of two distinguished guests, Hon’ble Justice Ms. Hema Kohli, former judge of the Supreme Court of India, and Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, renowned politician, author, former Cabinet Minister, and social innovator, who presented awards.
