The Federation of Indian Publishers held its 50th Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at The Claridges, New Delhi. Marking a significant milestone in the Federation’s journey, the event brought together key members of the publishing community to reflect on the achievements of the past year and discuss future initiatives.

The AGM was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. K. Sreenivasarao, Secretary of the Sahitya Akademi, as the chief guest. In his address, he highlighted the critical role of publishers in preserving and promoting India’s literary heritage and encouraged continued collaboration between literary institutions and the publishing industry.

The meeting included detailed presentations on FIP’s activities, financial performance, and upcoming projects. Members engaged in constructive discussions around policy advocacy, publishing trends, and ways to further strengthen the Indian publishing ecosystem.
